SUDDEN SUMMONS TO MRS. LITTLE

Well known Gladstone woman called by death Tuesday
night.

Mrs. Harland LITTLE, died suddenly of heart trouble, shortly after
midnight Tuesday, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and
Mrs. George GLASS near Gladstone. She had not been in good health for
some time, but retired Tuesday evening feeling as well as usual. About
12:30 she called her daughter telling her that she felt ill, and ten
minutes later lapsed into unconsciousness, in which condition she
remained until her death twenty minutes later.

Mrs. LITTLE, whose maiden name was GORDON, was in Highland County, but
practically all her life had been passed in the neighborhood where she
died. She was 58 years of age. 2 years ago, next October, Mr. LITTLE
died, and since then Mrs. LITTLE had not lived on the home farm, but made
her home with her children. She is survived by 3 children, Mrs. GLASS,
Mrs. Wilmot BYRAN, and Arthur B. LITTLE. 2 brothers and 2 sisters
survive. Aaron and Wright GORDON of Gladstone, Mrs. Joel LITTLE, of near
Springfield, and Mrs. G.W. LITTLE of Grapegrove. An unusual fact in this
connection is that the decedent and her 2 sisters all married men whose
family name is LITTLE, all of them being cousins.

Mrs. LITTLE was a member of the Disciples Church in Jamestown. The
funeral services will be held at 1:30 Friday afternoon at the GLASS home.
