AGED WOMAN DIES OF TUBERCULOSIS

Mrs. Elizabeth TURNER, wife of Leonard TURNER, died at 4 o'clock
Wednesday evening at her home 4 miles South of Jamestown, at the age of
73 years. Her death was due to tuberculosis, with which disease she had
been a sufferer for several months. She was confined to her bed during
only the last few weeks of her illness.
The maiden name of the deceased was Elizabeth THOMAS. Her first
husband was Francis HARNESS, of near New Jasper, who died a number of
years ago. She is survived only by her second husband who is now 82 years
of age.
The funeral will take place at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the M.E.
Church in Gunnersville, the friends meeting at the house at 9:30 o'clock.
Burial will be made at Port William.
