I have been wanting to check into that information myself! I have an
ancestor who has a headstone there (military - civil war stone) but I
don't believe he is really buried there - have found he may have
remarried and is buried in Fayette County! Trying to prove or disprove
this ... but haven't yet made it!

I understand the "records" are in the Jamestown, Silvercreek Township
offices which are located in one of the "older" buildings near downtown.
I believe the old Opera House used to house those offices - but since
their plans on renovating the old Opera House - I don't know if they have
moved those offices.

Sorry I don't have any phone numbers or addresses - but my parents live
just outside of town - and I could call them and have them look - if you
don't get the direct answer from someone else on the list! Just let me
know!
