Hi, several people have wondered about the connection between the Wilson
family and the Badgley family as there are Badgley in the Wilson Cemetery which is
supposedly a family cemetery. In searching for the correct Knott family for
Elizabeth Knott Badgley wife of Moses, I came upon Elizabeth Knott Wilson, wife
of Issac (Essac) S. Wilson. They show up in the 1850 Census in Mad River Twp.
Clark Co. and she in 1880 Census with son Charles in Mad River Twp. Clark Co.
Clifton Cemetery Records of Greene Co. have their deaths as Issac Wilson 6
Oct 1866, age 52y 11m 12 d. Elizabeth as 1819-1903. They were married in Greene
Co. 30 May 1837 by Rev. Andrew W Poage - who seems to married a lot of the
Knott family.
Question is - is this Issac Wilson related to any of the ones in Wilson
cemetery and where is the connection between Elizabeth Knott Badgley and Elizabeth
Knott Wilson? Any help would be appreciated. Linda Swaney Sabin
