I hope you don't mind but I am asking the folks on the Brethren list if this
could be one of their families. I was wondering if you can tell if it might
be the family below.

As you will see there is a definite connection between Preble and Greene Co.
There is a Jonathan Davis married Sarah Darst and a connection to the
Hustons. Connie Spice knows a lot more about this family and I think she is
a member of the list but I am going to copy this to her also and also to my
Cottrell family that descends from John Cottrell of Greene Co who had
children that married into the Huston family. I did not delete the original
at the bottom of this email as I wanted everyone to be able to see all of
the names. I apologize to the Archive.

Wouldn't it be strange if the Markey is a trunication of Markley, but my
husband's family was in Champaign Co and I think the furthest west they got
was Miami Co.

I have some info. from a Family Bible for someone.
My son-inlaw bought it at a yard sale.
The Family was married Lived in Eaton,Ohio.
The Name on the cover of the BIBLE Says:
JOHN M. DAVIS & SARAH E. DAVIS
it also has info. on S. AMOS MARKEY
ANNA DAVIS ...Oct.16,1894
AND H> M. DAVIS to DOROTHY WACHTEL
CHARLES L. DAVIS June 23,1907
AND H. M. BARIWICK,EATON,OHIO to TREVA SWARTSEL
ANNA M> MARKEY DEC. 7,1924
AMOS SAMIEL MARKEY July 19,1944
It mentions Prebbrl Co. SS. Oct. 16,1894 wittness name of Marriage too.
There is a copy of Marriage Certifficate & recite when marriage licence
was
gotten. I t has the Name: Buelah and Allen Glander Oct. 20,1941
Bible was given to this person by Amos Markey
There was a Funeral card in it too.
Name on it was BENJAMIN HUSTON from the REFORM CHURCH he was 70 yr. at
death.it also has birth info. on family info. too. We hope to find the
ones this
should be with.
