It is suggested to give copies to family members and relatives who live in
various parts of the country. That way if one copy is destroyed there are
others available. You could also put a copy in a safety deposit box in the bank
or a copy to a Genealogical or Historical society. You might consider
giving a GEDCOM to LDS (the Latter Day Saints) myfamily.org.
