The Samuel Moore referred to is my gggrandfather. He is believed to have
been born
in NJ in 1788. This data has not been confirmed, along with who his parents
were.
As far as I know we have no connection with the James Moore you mention. I
have many
records extending forward from 1788 for both my Ewings and Moores. Their
areas
were NJ>Adams co., Pa.>Greene co., Ohio>Batavia, Clermont co., Ohio.
