Needing information on the Brill family and Carpenter family in Guernsey
County, Ohio.

Francis Marion Brill was the husband of Rebecca J. Grayham or Graham and the
father of Nancy Maude or Maude Nancy Brill who was my great grandmother.
Francis Marion Brill and Rebecca J. Grayham married on July 16, 1866 in
Guernsey Co., Ohio.

Nancy Maude Brill was born on January 11, 1871 in Salesville, Guernsey Co.,
Ohio. She died in 1956. I have found only one other sibling of Nancy Maude
Brill, a male born on July 30, 1867 in Salesville. In Francis Marion
Brill's obituary it stated that he had several children. Does anyone have
any info on the other children?

Nancy Maude Brill married Cassius Carpenter on May 17, 1898. Prior to Nancy
Maude Brill and Cassius Carpenter's marriage, she had an illegitimate son
named Harry Brill born September 10, 1892 or 1893. Harry Brill died on
January 18, 1975 in Ohio. My father and his siblings related this info to
me and they also remember visiting their half-uncle.

My grandfather, Dent Mott Carpenter was born to Cassius and Nancy Maude
Carpenter on May 17, 1899 in Salesville and died on January 2, 1972. He was
the first child of this union, but Nancy Maude's second child.
