I'm looking for information regarding the Phillis family in Spencer
Twp., Guernsey County, especially Charles Phillis, presumably in the
area from the early 1830's to at least 1849 or so. He had kin in
Washington County, PA (Thomas).

I'm trying to find out if the Phillis' had any connection to William
C. Bay or any other of the Bay family in either Guernsey County or
Washington County, PA.
