I have an old album of tin types from my great Grandmother Amanda Belle
Gregg Shacklee, who was born on Walnut Ridge in Noble County Ohio in 1865,
and as a girl she dated a Lawrence Starr. There is a tin type in this album
of a young man with a note behind the picture from a Lawrence Starr. She
was active in the Beaver Baptist Church and also attended special events
at the Palestine Church. Her brother-in-law Ralph Hanna published a songbook
of hymns at Quaker City, and I have a picture in front of Beaver Baptist
the day the hymn book was 1st used. John Ogden
