The new Central High School was built back in the 30s or 40s...at the SW corner of Steubenville Ave and 7th Street......then Brown High school which was located on the northside of Steubenville Ave
between 8th and 9th St....and this facility then became Brown Jr High School.....I went there in the late 40s......Later a new High School was build....1960 or so out in the north part of the town....on Clairmont....and the old Central High became the Jr High and Brown Jr High was transferred over to the county and become the sheriff office and jail.....

The Library, also located on Steubenville Ave at the corner of 8th has year books from most classes of the schools.....They have a voice line and fax line....and I believe email now....the main phone number is 740-432-5946.

My mother and father went to Brown High School from about 1922 thru 1924....She graduated in 1928 and my father graduated in 1929.
