To all to Whom these presents sahll come Greeting: Know ye that Jacob Thomas of Belmont county, Ohio having deposited in the Treasury a certificate of the Register of the Land Office at Zanesville whereby it appears that full payment has been made for the NorthWest quarter of Section One, of Township One in Range two of the unapproprated Lands in the Military district of the lands directed to be sold at Aznesville by the acto fCongress entitled “An Act providing for the sale of the Lands of the United Sates in the territory northwest of the Ohio and above the mouth of the Kentucky River,” and of the acts amendatory of the saem. There is Granted by the United States unto the said Jacob Thomas the gr. Lot or section of land above discribed To Have and to hold the said quarter lot or section of land with the appurtances unto the said Jacob Thomas his heirs and assigns forever. In Testimony Whereof I have caused these Letters to be made Patnent and the seal of !
the General Land Office to be hereunto affixed.
Given under my hand at the City of Washington the nineteenth day of August in the year of our Lord On thousdand and eight hundred and twelve and of the Independence of the United States of Americal this thirty seventh.
