Wilbur Chester Cline BETHESDA — Wilbur Chester Cline, 85, of Bethesda, died Monday (Nov. 12, 2001) at Barnesville Health Care Center. He was born Sept. 16, 1916, in Monroe County, son of the late Leonard and Daisy (Payne) Cline. Mr. Cline was a retired farmer and meat cutter. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was a life member of Bethesda American Legion Post 90 and Bethesda VFW Post 9712. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II. He was preceded in death by a brother, Francis Cline; and a grandson, Eric Cline. He leaves his wife of 57 years, Dorothy (McCrea) Cline; a son, Leonard M. (Carol) Cline of West Liberty; four daughters, Mrs. Ted (Barbara) Cragulets of Mentor, Mrs. James (Michele) Hatcher of Winterset, Mrs. Toby (Susan) McFarland of Bethesda and Tamara Jeffries of Shadyside; nine grandchildren, Leonard M. Cline Jr., Chasity Stahler, Sarah Gromek, Doug Cragulets, Traci and Stephani Hatcher, Jeff and Aaron McFarland and Jami Jeffries!
; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd Cline of Sardis and Gayle Cline of Malvern. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, Bethesda, where services will be 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda. Military graveside services will be conducted by Belmont County Council VFW. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Guernsey Inc., P.O. Box 1165, 9711 East Pike, Cambridge, OH 43725, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
