Any help would be appreciated in this puzzle.
In my ggrandfathers pension papers it said that he had to prove his
birthday. His name was Alpheus. His father was John Moore. Nancy Waller and
John Moore married in 1823 Guernsey County.
Well, anyway there is a report from James A. Coleman that in 1913 had the
post office of Cumberland. He also was 80 at the time. He said that he was
well acquainted with him since infancy. That he went to live with the father
of the claiment and grew up therein.
Does anyone know anything about the Colemans?

I'm just trying to place this Moore family.
