I have a John Hinds that married Melinda in my family. They were living in Sauk Co. Wisconsin in 1870. My grandfather, William was one of their sons. William was born in 1839 in Ohio and they went to Wisconsin in about 1855. Is it a possibility that I have finally made a connection--if so and if you are interested I have further information.
