Hi, Everyone,

Please be aware of these few simple rules to follow when responding to a roll call (on any geneological mailing list you are on).

1) On location-based lists such as this one, your subject line, after the words "Roll Call", should include a list of the surnames of interest to you in that location (and no others).

2) The body of the message (as with any description of your research interests) should include enough details to allow others to recognize your family. Surnames are rarely enough, so you should provide important individual given names, as well as important dates that you are aware of (births, deaths, marriages) and even villages or townships where they lived if you know them.
