Hope you are still with the same e-mail address to get a copy of this or check on this. I know it's been a while since you posted this. Or maybe someone else knows about the Thompson family here in this county. I just discovered that my husband's Thompsons were from the Guernsey County area. At least who married his gr-gr-grandfather Reese Thompson was from Guernsey County. She was Mary Payne b.1833 in Newcomerstown, Tuscarawas County but a least one of their daughters was born in Antrim, Guernsey Co. Since Newcomerstown is near the border to Guernsey I figured I should look here too.
According to a biography for Reese and Mary Payne Thompson's son-in-law, Reese was born in Wheeling, WV.
I would love it if you could look up in the data you have for the possible parents of Reese Thompson b. 1822.
Reese and Mary Payne Thompson moved to Wisconsin and then to Washington state in 1890 where they are buried.
I haven't been able to find them in any census before 1880 when they were already in Wisconsin.
