Well, whatever it's called ---
Since we live in Florida and most of mine and my husband's family roots are
firmly planted in Cincinnati and northern KY, I value the occasion to do
research at the main library in Cincinnati. go prepared to spend hours and
hours. First, if possible, access the CINCH source for newspaper articles.
Find the obituary references so you can copy them when you get there.
I believe they will have microfilm of all the census records, as well as
city directories for many years.
There are also historical references to city areas, neighborhoods, etc. so
you can get a feel for the area at the time your relatives lived there.
Check the surname indexes (on CINCH and in the library) and you may find
articles unrelated to obituaries as well. I found names of relatives in
reports of soldiers during WWII, sports activities, and general news items.
Enjoy your time there and make the best of it.
