My name is Donald Horton Gurley and my e-mail address is:

I'm interested in finding information on the Stall family of
Oldenburg. In 1849 Bernard George Stall left Oldenburg and
arrived in Cincinnati, Ohio where he lived out his life. He was
Roman Catholic and left some money when he died to a
church or cathedral in Oldenburg. Let me know if I need
to contact anyone else to gain this info.

Thanks again, Don

Don,

I'm forwarding your post to the list and subscribed you also.

The above is pretty limited info and unless someone else is
also researching the family, you'll have to do some research
yourself to get further. Oldenburg was a country but if
Bernard was Rc he almost certainly came from the
Oldenburger M=FCnsterland, ie the =C4mter (roughly
administrative counties) Vechta or Cloppenburg in southern
Oldenburg. Just where is another matter.

Fred
