Hello Brian,

My request doesn't have anything to do with the 4 families you mentioned, =

but I'm actually trying to find a trace of the WELLMANN family, who lived =

in Damme, too, in the beginning of the 19th century.
I've got the copy of the civil war diary of Johann Friedrich Wilhelm
Wellmann who left Germany and arrived in Baltimore on May 16, 1859. From
there, he went to Cincinnati where he probably joined friends or family
members. In 1861 he left Ohio as a volunteer of the 10th Ohio Infantry
Regiment. He died after having been ill on March 2, 1863, in Murfreesboro,=

Tennessee.
It would be very interesting for me to know if the Wellmann family is
registered in the Damme church books because until now I didn't succeed to=

look up any other trace of Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Wellmann's life.

Thank you
