Subject: Cemetary in Cincinnati
Content-Type: text
I would like to pinpoint a cemetery in Cincinnati.
My great-great grandfather Joseph Gilbert MARTIEN
died in Cincinnati in 1896. Rev. S.M. Bernard of the
Christian Church (sounds pretty general to me) conducted the
appropriate service... and interment took place in the
Old fellows' Cemetery.
Is there an Old fellows' Cemetery in Cincinnati, or is this
a generic term. In his obit. Old fellows' looks for all the
world as if it is spelt "Odd fellows'. Any help/pointers appreciated.
Joseph Gilbert MARTIEN was of french descent (Protestent).
Thanks,

Just some information as I have no idea of cem. around Cincinnati. Christian
Church
is a common chuch in the north it is actually the Deciples of Christ but
common name is The Christian Church. Also ODD FELLOWS is actually a lodge
order and the name is the Independant Order of the Odd Fellows. So guess what
Im saying is that this LODGE could have had a cemetery. You might just look
these 2 up on the web and write to the main branch for information.
