Hamilton Co. Probate has 'transcribed' wills in the old will books. Many of
these were retranscribed following the fire in 1884.

The Archives and Rare Books Department of the University of Cincinnati
Libraries has approximately 50,000 "original" wills for Hamilton Co. OH for
the period 1791-1901 (as of Mar 1988). The Department is located on the 8th
fl of the Carl Blegan Library at UC. At one time, it was noted that Staff
would search for a will on the database in responce to a telephone request.
The # was (513) 475-6459.
I located Aaron Boram's will (probated Oct. 10 1846) there several years
ago, not only was it the original, but it contained a few other papers
pertaining to it's submission to probate that I would not have found in the
courthouse records.

Also note, they have many other records as part of the Ohio Network
Collection which include various Twp. records, School records etc. for not
only Hamilton Co., but other counties as well. At one time, they had mailed
me a listing of their holdings, but I am sure it is outdated now.
