Hello, all;
I believe I have posted my interest in the HEILE family previously, but
have recently made contact with someone on a German Surname list who also has
some information on the name.

Could anyone in Covington or Cincinnati area help us sort out the family?
The HEILEs were, at one time, prominent feed and grain dealers on both sides
of the river. The names in the first few generations were so similar it's
difficult to see who's related to whom!

My husband's great grandmother was Maria (Mary) HEILE, who married Dr.
Andreas KNOLLMANN in Covington.
Maria's parents (they are all buried at St. John's ceme) were Heinrich HEILE,
b. 3 Mar 1818, died 21 May 1883 and Adelheit HELLMANN b. 21 Aug 1826 died 20
Apr. 1889.

I need to know how these HEILEs fit in with:
Henry HEILE, Sr. who died @25th Feb 1905, funeral 28 Feb at St. Aloysius'
Church, buried Mother of God Cemetery (Latonia). According to newspaper
items, he was 71 yrs. old, born Hanover, immigrated 1852. Had brothers
named Bernard and Frank who had previously been in business with him in
Cincinnati, sons named Frank J., Anthony L. and Henry Jr. Daughters were
Mrs. Fred Pieper, Jr., Mrs. Benjamin Bramlage. Nephews Elmer and Albert
Heile. In the newspaper death articles, it also says that this Henry Heile,
Sr. was "a devout Catholic and one of the founders of St. Aloysius Church.
Member of the board of St. Johns Orphan Asylum. Member of the German Pioneer
Society and the Chamber of Commerce of Cincinnati for 45 years."

Obviously, I'm missing a generation here, but believe the older Heinrich must
have been the father(?) of the one called Henry Sr. in his obituary.

Does anyone have this family in their research? All suggestions would be
appreciated.
