I have had some luck contacting St. Peter in Chains Cathedral directly for
marriage and baptismal records rather than trying to obtain the same
information from the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. It helps the staff at the
church if you can give exact names and dates. I called first to see if they
had records that could be sent to me, then faxed the information to them and
received a reply within a week. They never asked for a fee, but I sent a
donation for the church to show my appreciation.
