Does anyone out there know for positive whether Miami Township was part of
the Symmes Purchase or was land granted to Revolutionary War soldiers? I
would be interested in communicating with anyone who had people in Miami
Township between 1780-1850. Thanks.

The Miami Twp of SW Hamilton County was part of the Symmes Purchase and
where John Cleves Symmes built his settlement.
There is a Miami Twp. sitting on the eastern bank of the Little Miami River
in Clermont County which, I believe was part of the Virginia Military
District.
