Dear Donna,
This is the letter I tried to send to you but it came back saying that
¡°dietried¡± was no good and Netscape could not find it. So I decided
to do it this way. I hope this helps you.

I have had your letter on my incoming file for two weeks as I was
waiting for son (the expert on these matters) to visit me. He did and
now I can give you some help. About three years ago we were looking
for the gunboat my great grandfather severed on during the Civil War and
this is how we did it and you can do yours the same way.
Go to any ¡°search engine¡± type in ¡°gunboat¡± or ¡°steamboat¡± and
wait for the results. Yesterday we tried this with word ¡°gunboat¡±
and got about 500 ¡°hits¡±. When we were doing this we not only found
the gunboat on which he served but a picture of it. You should be able
to do the same thing. If your can¡¯t find a search engine you might
have to get help and then I am sure you will find what you want. Let
me know what results you have.
