Marilyn: Hi again. I took up the challenge to look up
those names in the 1890 directory, and I'm posting this to
the list so it can be archived in case anyone else is ever
looking for the same surnames. Here's what I found in the
1890 Cincinnati City Directory:
For Brunswick:
B.H. Brunswick of the Brunswick, Balke, Collender Company,
Manufacturers of Billiard and Pool Tables and Bar Fixtures,
8, 10, and 12 West 6th. ( I didn't know these guys started
in Cincy!)
B.H.'s home is "Grandview Ave. near Fleming"
Also: Emma and Henry Brunswick (Henry is a "feeder") at 67
Bogen
Mrs. J. M. Brunswick, a widow, at the residence of B.H.
Brunswick's, E. Walnut Hills

Meinking:
Dietrick Meinken_, carpenter, home at 139 Western Ave. Also
under Meinken:
Ferdinand, Frank, 2 Henrys, and Louis.
Under Meinking:
William, driver, home at 32 Pleasant. Margaret, widow of
Frederick H., also lives at that address.
There are also 2 Fredericks, one Frederick Jr., Henry, H.,
Margaret (a widow) [not the same one, I don't think], and
Matilda.
I was unable to access these on Ancestry.com, as they are
having "server problems", but I live near the Salt Lake
Library, and was able to go there. Hope this answers some
questions for you! Linda in Utah
