Ann, were you asking about a John E. Bell several days ago? There was a
John E. Bell who served on the Cincinati Board of Public Works with my
great grandfather circa 1876. The five members were Jacob Gessert (my gg
grandfather), John E. Bell, John D. Caldwell, David Baker, and Charles
Foote. I do not know anything about this John E. Bell (I do have a photo
of him) but am sure that the Cincinnati Historical Society and the
public library on Vine will have information.
