I just got my hands on a copy of the Cincinnati Daily Commercial dated
Thursday October 12, 1865. Below are the marriages listed in the paper
(I will list the obituaries in an email to follow).

Marriages:
LOCKWOOD-CARPENTER On Tuesday evening October 10, in the Vine St.
Congressional Church, by Rev S.H. Nichols, Mr. Frank T. Lockwood to Miss
Helen H., daughter of Dr. J.B. Carpenter, all of this city.
PLUMB-CLAYBORN On Tuesday October 10, by the Rev. Reeves McGillard, Mr.
Jno. W. Plumb of Chillicothe, to Miss Emma Clayborn, of Mt. Healthy, O.
HOLMAN-WILLIAMSON On Monday, October 2, at the residence of Martin R.
Sayler, Huntington County Ind., by the Rev. M. Wayman, Jap. Holman, Esq
of Cincinati, to Miss Mary Jane Williamson of Montgomery County, O.
PETTIT-HOPPER On Tuesday, October 10, at the bride's residence, by the
Rev. Henry Allen, Mr. Joseph A. Pettit to Miss Hattie C. Hopper, both of
this city.
REXFORD-GEORGE On Thursday evening, October 5, in Dunkirk, N.Y., by
the Rev. Isaac George, Rev. E.L. Rexford, pastor First Universalist
Church, Cincinnati, to Julia M., second daughter of the officiating
clergyman.
HARDY-EYRE On Wednesday, October 11, at the Clifton House, by the Rev.
H.M. Sneed, Mr. John A. Hardy to Miss Catherine Eyre, of Lebanon, Ohio.
COVERT-HAYWARD On Wednesday, October 11, at the Parsonage, 98 George
St., by the Rev. H.M. Sneed, Mr George H. Covert, of Springdale, to Miss
Anna Hayward, of Ludlow.
