I hope that all those who attend (and, if permitted, speak at the hearing)
will be sure to make the point that the reduction in state support of the
Ohio Historical Society is an issue of concern to everybody, not just
residents of Ohio. The role of OHS in preserving vital records and making
them available to all is a responsibility to all future generations, whether
residents of Ohio or any other state.
I wish that I could be there, but time and distance prevent it. My thanks go
to all who can attend this hearing and speak up for our future generations.
