I would love the 1850 census info if you found it. Indeed, they had a
Benjamin/Bernard born in 1871 as well. Your Bernard that you see in the
1870 census, may actually be the one you see in 1880 as Henry (remember, the
scary Bernard HEINRICH combo that everyone seemed to love). He's listed as
24 in 1880, so it would be pretty close in age as well. Or, it could be
another Bernard that moved out by 1880, but I can't find him anywhere else
in 1880. Thank you for looking those two census years up for me though -
I'd love the information.

I found the 1870 census for Bernard HEVING and he has a son in that census
whose name is Bernard also. The son Bernard is age 15 in 1870 which could
account for your extra 'Bernard because I believe I noticed there was
ANOTHER son Bernard born later. In another census. If you catch me typing
"Benjamin" for "Bernard" please correct me as I keep trying to do that in my
email. I had to go back and change it.
