Yes, if he had siblings, their descendants might have some leads. You never know where something's going to turn up! I was just talking to a good friend whose father was born in 1915 to refugee parents who were on the move at the time. He finally came to the US about 10 years ago. He knows very little about his
ancestry. Recently, however, a distant cousin whose family came the the US in the early 1900s managed to find my friend's father and contact him. That person has a good deal of information. One very good piece of advice I learned at a genealogy workshop years ago: "Research broadly!"
