There is also a Sarah C. b 1838 in the 1850 census in Buck Twp, Hardin
County with parents John H. 42 and Elizabeth 40 and 13 brothers and
sisters.

Hello Nancy and thank you for your offer.

I am looking for the death certificate of Sarah Catharen SMITH Kelly.
Sarah was born in Logan co. in 1938. She married John Kelly on October
23, 1859 in Hardin co. She died on March 25, 1904 in Hardin co. She had
5 children that I know of. Howard, Amos, Hattie, Sarah and John. All
born in Hardin co. Sarah is buried in Dudley township, Hardin co.

I want the names of her parents that should be on a death certificate.

If I find she is the daughter of Harmon and Jane WILGUS Smith, then I
can move on in finding her offspring.

Hi Dick:

What exactly are you looking for and for whom?

Birth and death records were kept by the county from 1867-1908 and it wasn't
a requirement so it is a hit or miss type of thing. I do have a lot of
resources for the county if you want to let me know who you are researching.

What is the best source of information in Hardin co. for someone from out
of town? looking for birth information for the year 1838 (if available)
marriage for the year 1859 (if available) and death for the year 1904. If
this information is available should I go to the Health Dept., Library, or
