I am not descended from any of the Wingate family, but the Lavina Seeley
that is the mother of several who marred into the Wingate family was wed on
January 17, 1840 to William Lappin and had two children: John Urleihigh and
Wesley Wilbert Lappin. William had been wed before and had Elizabeth, Susan,
Jane, William and Amaziah. I am trying to trace any descendants of the Lappin
connection. Have you run across any information on them while searching for
