Jacob SCOTT (b. 1815 Harrison Co., OH), married Mary Hannah WORTMAN (b. 1818 in Maine or New Brunswick). Mary is listed as "Mary BOLES" in the death certificate of her daughter, Elizabeth Hannah SCOTT HEATER

Jacob & Mary emigrated to Mahaska Co., Iowa after 1840; and then on to Clackamas Co., OR, settling first on Mt. Scott in 1852. They subsequently moved south to Marion County, settling on the land that is still in the SCOTT family on Silver Falls Hwy, Sublimity.

Jacob & Mary had the following children:
1839 Mary Catherine
1843 Christina
1846 Emily Jane
1849 Jacob Jr.
1851 Elizabeth Hannah
1853 John
1857 David
1859 George A.
