Janice,
Here is what I can find in the book regarding the Sudlow families:
On page 1038 regarding Starr Twp. in Hocking Co., it reads:
"Joseph Sudlow settled on section 19 in 1817. He built a cabin where the
Pleasant Point Methodist Episcopal church now stands. He was born in
Connecticut and married Hannah Clapp, who came with her parents to this
township in 1816, and was the first to teach school in the township."
On page 1042 it lists Joseph and Hannah Sudlow among the first members of
the Woodard's Chapel Methodist Episcopal Church (now called Morris Chapel.)
On page 1031 under Edward D. Lehman, it reads:
"Jan. 17, 1881 he (meaning Edward D. Lehman) married Mary E., daughter of
Harvey S. Sudlow, of Starr Township."
That seems to be all that I can see regarding any Sudlows.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have further questions.
Barb Crawford
