My daughter has Knapp. I havn't been able to
trace them back to far. But hers was Rebecca Knapp married John Seaman. They

My Brundage KNAPP arrived in Huron County in 1825 or 1826.
The 1838 school census for Greenwich Township, Huron County, Ohio shows
Bishop Knapp with children of school age named Lucy A., Caroline, Clarissa, and
Mary E>
The estate of William B. Knapp was settled in 1841 in Huron County.
My Brundage lived in section 3, Greenwich Township, Huron County, in 1826,
in Bronson, Huron County, in 1836, and in Fairfield, Huron County, in 1864.
I *think* Bishop is a son of Brundage.
Family tradition says Brundage Knapp had at least 3 wives: Lidda Bishop,
Esther Mead, and Sally Tyler.
That's about the extent of my Knapp knowledge, unfortunately!
