One thing I noticed at the cemetary where most of my ancestors are buried
(Steuben), especially after I did the family tree research, was the number
of people who died in 1919......It's not a monumental observations, but it
is interesting to think how a community of people dealt with losing a
noticeable percentage of it populus -- while today, most disease is
described as "occasional outbreak"...... I was thinking about this as I
remembered having Scarlet Fever as a Freshmen in High School....
