Have you ever wondered what a perch or a chain or a rod etc. etc. etc.
were. Well here they are and a few extras.

Perch was 8 feet
Chain was 66 feet
Rod was 16.5 feet
Peck was 1/4 bushel
Wey was 4 bushels
Firkin was 9 gallons
Hogshead was 54 gallons
Gill was 4 ounces
Stone 14 pounds still used in England today.
