were Orin and Lydia (HUNTER) CARTWRIGHT, both of whom were natives of
Vermont, and of English descent. The branch of the CARTWRIGHT family
to which Norman S. CARTWRIGHT belonged traces its ancestry back to
Colonel Ethan ALLEN of Revolutionary War fame.

Hope this may help to fill in some gaps in your information on the
HUNTERs.
If you should happen to feel overcome with joy at these findings, you
might want to consider sharing these feelings with HCC/OGS by making
a contribution to their Publication Fund. There is no obligation,
whatsoever, to do this, but HCC/OGS is always glad to share in the
happiness of others in this (tangible) manner.
If you decide to send a contribution, you can mail it to: The Huron
County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society, P.O. Box 923,
Norwalk, OH 44857-0923.
