Hope you find a lead.

DELPHI CEMETERY, RIPLEY TOWNSHIP

Delphi Cemetery is located in Range 22, Twp. 1, Sect. 4, Ripley Twp., on the
south side of US 224, less than 1/4th mile west of New State Rd. at Delphi.
The semetery is on Seldon Jones' former Lot 18 farm, and most of those
buried here are Jones family relatives. The transcriber is Dale C. Kellogg,
first copied in May 1938, and rechecked in Aug. 1983.

There are 24 people buried in this cemetery: 2 WILLIAMS; 1 TEMPLE; 11 JONES;
1 WESTON; 2 BOWLBY; 1 FROST; 1 HACKETT; 2 TRUXELL; 3 ALLAN;

19 ALLAN, James M., d. 22 July 1871 age 61 y 3 m 19 d; Father [GAR marker]

20 ALLAN, Jane, w/o James ALLAN, d. 9 Apr 1886 age 69 y 6 m 23 d; Mother

21 ALLAN, Wm. W., 1847 - 1923

[as near as I can see, William was the last person buried in this cemetery]

Charles JONES has a GAR marker and Flavel JONES died at Chickamauga
19 Sep 1863, age 23 y 5 m 22 d; Co. D, 101 OVI; "His remains lie in Tenn."

Cheers,

Nancy

I will do look ups in the Huron County, Ohio Cemetery Inscriptions by Huron
County Chapter of the OGS. Please put "HURON COUNTY CEMETERY" in the
subject. I get lots of mail and don't open everything. This will insure
that I don't overlook your request.
