Patti,
Thank you very much for checking the Huron Co. Cemetery inscriptions book
and sending me all the info.

The only "hit" I see may be Charles A. BROWN 1835-1919. My Jonathan
BROWN, Jr. had a grandson Charles Austin BROWN. A birth date of 1835
would fit fine. I had no info about Charles.

My Jonathan BROWN, Sr. consistently used "Jonathan" as his first name.
Including deeds and in his RW Pension papers.

In view of the expansion of Erie Co. in 1840 and the proximity of Norwalk
to the Erie Co. boundry I wonder if my Jonathan might have been buried in
Erie Co. His son reportedly died in 1839 in Milan which went to Erie Co.
in 1840.

How would you suggest I check Erie Co.? RootsWeb List? Are cemetery
records on microfilm?

I believe some of my BROWNs also went to Lorain County.

Interesting to see the record about a John BROWN who died 1855 at age 79.
Therefore born 1776. Do you know any more about him?
Dave Anderson
