Hi Peggy,
It really is a small world! I am the Pat Allen who corresponded with Wayne
about our Patterson line. Are you the same Peggy Calk? Wayne had very
kindly sent me his Patterson group sheets and some photos. I sent him a copy
of the History of the Patterson family. Is your family still making beef
jerkies?
I can't help you with Early/Earley but my grandmother, Mary Gill Beatty
(Rhodes) Patterson was from Steubenville, Jefferson County, Ohio. Please
tell Wayne I took a wonderful research trip to Cross Creek, Washington
County, PA, and Steubenville, Jefferson County, Ohio, last November. I even
found 4 Patterson cousins living here in Florida, one in Orlando!
