Thank-you for the articles. I am very interested in these since my g.g.grandparents lived in Centerburg until sometime before 1860. He, Daniel Wolf(e), published 2 newspapres in Centerburg but I have been unable to locate him, wife and most of their children after 1860. Did your grandmother live there all her life? Do you have any information about this area of Knox county? I haven't been able to locate anything about them except the newspapers which had no info on the family. Thank-you for any help.

Well-Known Centerburg Resident
Dies Monday Following Stroke
of Paralysis

Centerburg, June 3 -- Mr. D.H. Moreland, aged 69 years, a well-known resident of this place died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 after a lingering illness following a stroke of paralysis. He leaves his wife, two sons and one daughter, all of Centerburg. Funeral services Wednesday afternoon at the Church of Christ at 3 o'clock, the Rev. Mr. Walker officiating. Burial in the Centerburg cemetery.

D. Harry Moreland, late of Hilliar township, by the terms of his will, just filed in the probate court, bequeaths his real estate to his wife, Mary Moreland, for the period of her natural life and his personal property to her absolutely.
The will provides that at the death of Mrs. Moreland, the homestead, located near Centerburg, shall go to testator's daughter for life, and that his farm or 121 acres in Hilliar township shall go to his sons, Grover C. and Guy Moreland, the sons to pay testator's grandson the sum of $300 when he reaches the age of majority. Also, it is provided that at the death of Mrs. Moreland all tools and implements shall become the property of Grover C. Moreland, and that at the death of testator's daughter, the property bequeathed to her shall go to her children, or if she be without children, to testator's grandchildren. The will was signed Sept. 28, 1914, in the presence of Charles D. Hayden, Nancy L. Hayden and E. Emma Hayden, and, by its terms, Grover C. and Guy Moreland are nominated executors.

Larimore, Dan Green, Denver Larimore, Emmett Ramey, Mary Moreland, Mary Hawkins, Hiram Debolt, Bert Messmore, Lane, Dally, Ephriam Debolt, Jay Bearns, H.H. Mortley, Arch Gearhart, Wash Ramey, P.A. Wright and Misses Ethel, Esther and Mary Wright, and Robert Wright.
