Susan,
I am most interested in your connection to the Gifford family in Lake County, OH.
My father was born in Lake Co. in 1905. His grandmother is Eliza Charity Gifford b. 1845 married Alfred R. Monroe 1968.
There were many Giffords in Lake and Ashtabula Counties.
I do not have a Mary Ellen in my database, but wish to learn more from you as to dates.
I have the following Gifford data collected from headstones in Madison, Lake Co. during a visit there in June 2000.

William F. 1863-1956
Gertie E. 1878-1958
Paul E. 1897-1959
Pauline Q. 1897-1898
I have photographs of Guy Gale Gifford who was my fathers 3rd? cousin.
