Father Of City
Resident Dies
Rites will be held here for George Myers, 81, of 845 E. 128th St., Cleveland, father of Mrs. Margaret Wilson of this city. Retired 10 years from his work as a stationary engineer, Mr. Myers had been in poor health several years. He died Wednesday in City Hospital, Cleveland.
He was born Jan. 15, 1870, in Tedrow, O., but spent much of his life in Cleveland where he married Miss Annie Knight on March 3, 1901.
Surviving are his wife and, besides Mrs. Wilson, another daughter, Mrs. Ethel Malchow of Mayfield Heights; a sister, Mrs. Annie Schlusser of Miami, Fla.; four brothers, Sam Myers of Battle Creek, Mich., Hamlin Myers of Seattle, Wash., Dan of Fayette, O., and William of Sterling, Ill.; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Nixon Funeral Home, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Howard Brown, pastor of the Mayfield Methodist Church, will officiate. Friends may call beginning at 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Services Held
Services for George Myers, 81, of 845 E. 128th St., Cleveland, who died Wednesday, were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Nixon Funeral Home, here. The Rev. Howard Brown, pastor of the Mayfield Methodist Church, and a former Perry minister, officiated.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers were Donald Wilson, Robert Wilson, George Malchow, Charles Crotty, Jack Crotty and Merlin Myers.
Mr. Myers was a father of Mrs. Margaret Wilson of this city.
