Hello all
..am new to the list ..thought I ought introduce the family. Most of the
ones associated with Ohio can be found here: <A

A brief summary: am looking for more info on the descendants of John Adam
FISCHER & Julia MONNING. Both were born in 1846: John in Bavaria, he came to
the US at age 10 and proceeded to meet his relatives in KY; Julia was born
(we think) in Ironton, OH, possibly the daughter of Fred MONNING a farmer
from Hanover, Germany who settled in Lawrence in 1838.
I am the granddaughter of John & Julia's 10th child Carrie FISCHER NUSSBAUM.
Included on the web page is the family tree as far as John & Julia's
granchildren. There are also 2 links to other pages concerning the family.
One's an article on John & his son John J. FISCHER and the other is a wedding
announcement of 2 of the granddaughters of John & Julia.

Any info or insight into anything is greatly appreciated. Thanks
