goes a shortened version.Children of Elisbeth and David Lanthorn and spouses.
Joseph LanthornB: Oct. 17,1831 La. co.D:Maay 1,1889,Effingham,IL.
M:Mary Jane Clark Nov. 27,1862 in Sandfork,Gallia Co.Dtr of William Clark and
Elizabeth Nida.
Lewis Able Lanthorn(my g-g-grandfather) B:March 9,1833 in La. co. D:
Feb. 15,1910. M: Rachel Jane Neal(dtr of Walter Neal and Deborah Arnot) Nov/Dec.
1853
Rachel B; may 6,1833 D:Oct. 31,1924,both buried at Clay Chapel cem.together.
Lewis was in the Civil War and I have his Civil war pension records.
Mary Jane Lanthorn was born 1834/36 M; Joesph Peniel Baker Sept.9,1852
inGallia Co.She died 24 Jan 1900.Joseph B:13 Sept,1831 D:31 Dec.1899 They lived
in Clay Twp.
John Lanthorn B:1839
David Lanthorn B:1841
I have 1850,1860,1870 census records of Gallia co. showing the house hold of
Walter Neal.Elizabeth was 38 and Walter was 63 in 1850.Each census record
shows them exactly 10 years older.I will send you the children listed in their
household at a later time.They did have 2 or 3 of their own.I have a busy
