The following is copied from the 3 Apr 1902 "Granville Times," pp. 1,
which had in turn copied it from the "Utica (OH) Herald." I am not
related to this line and do not have any further information about any
person named. It is being posted for information only.

Samuel BELL, the father of William BELL, Jr. was born December 10, 1800.

Samuel BELL married Elizabeth HANGER--she was born May 20, 1800.
They had twelve children.
Nancy BELL, born Oct. 7, 1820.
Elizabeth BELL, born Sept. 26, 1821.
Jacob H. BELL, born Sept. 26, 1823.
William BELL, jr., born Aug. 23, 1825.
Sarah BELL, born July 23, 1827.
Harriet BELL, born Oct. 9, 1826. (should this be 1828 or 1829?)
Julia BELL, born June 17, 1831.
Rachel BELL, born Dec. 11, 1833.
Orren BELL, born March 16, 1836.
Leeman BELL, born March 30, 1838.
David BELL, born Aug. 26, 1840.
Letta BELL, born April 9, 1843.
Samuel BELL died March 21, 1894, aged 93 years, 10 months and 10 days.
He was born in Green Co., Pa.
David P. BELL died Dec. 30, 1893--aged 50 years, 8 months and 26 days.
Nancy BELL died Oct. 18, 1891--71 years, 11 days.
Orren W. BELL died Feb'y 25, 1898--61 years, 11 months and 9 days.
William BELL, Jr., was named after his Uncle William BELL, who has been
dead more than 20 years. So William BELL, Jr. will be 77 years old
August 23, 1902. -- Utica Herald
