Hi,

I'd like to exchange info on the family of Theophilus REES (1747-1814) and
Elizabeth THOMAS (c1743-1826). They settled in the Licking Co. area in
1801/2, helping to establish the Welsh Hills Settlement. I'd especially
like to learn about the families into which their children married: LEWIS,
THOMAS and RHOADS/ROADS.

"Amphion" under charter to Theophilus Rees; docked in New York 14 May 1795.
In Welsh Hills, 4 Sep 1801. Went first to Beaulah, Cambria Co., PA, to
the colony founded by Morgan Rhys. Jill and her husband made a trip to
Wales. She says Theophilus was named Thomas at birth and called Rees.
